Within the scope of real estate mediation, IMPIC (Institute of Public Markets) establishes a duty of cooperation and specific obligations for the Second Contracting Party (client seeking or selling a property). This duty requires the Second Contracting Party to actively cooperate with the Real Estate Agency, providing relevant information and fulfilling the legal and contractual obligations related to the real estate transaction.
Duty of Cooperation
Provision of Information:
The Second Contracting Party must provide the Agency with all elements deemed necessary and useful for carrying out the real estate transaction within the established deadlines.
Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing:
The Second Contracting Party is obliged to cooperate by providing information on the identity of the parties, the subject of the real estate transaction, and the means of payment, within the scope of preventing and combating these activities.
Compliance with Legal Standards:
The Second Contracting Party must comply with all applicable legal and regulatory provisions, including the issuance of the Energy Certificate, where applicable.
